	News Simon Winstanley Architects featured in Exhibition at The Lighthouse: Input and Ideas, Rethinking Scotland's policy on architecture & place. 30th May 2012 - 26th August 2012. 2nd December - The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) have chosen an image of the Houl to head their website for the section on 'choosing your Architect' - LiNK 17th November - We have been shortlisted (Special Mention) in the RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award 2011 11th November - We have recently achieved a Commendation in the Glasgow Institute of Architects 2011 awards Construction has begun on Loch Arthur Farm Shop and completion is expected in the summer 2012 The Houl has reached the RIBA awards 2011 winners list and the Scottish Design Awards 2011 GIA Awards Simon Winstanley Architects have received a brace of awards from the Glasgow Institute of Architects in their 2010 Design Awards. Not only did “The Houl” project receive a Design Award in the Residential category, we were also presented with an award for “Best Small Practice” for consistent high quality design. Deepstone Our Deepstone project has received a string of awards - a prestigious Saltire Society Housing Design Award, one of only two awarded this year, a Design Commendation from the Glasgow Institute of Architects and a Chartered Institute of Building Commendation Award. The project was also shortlisted in the Roses Design Awards, the Scottish design Awards and the RIBA Scotland Shortlist
